Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian organization that delivers impartial medical care to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care in over 70 countries.
We welcome candidates who bring a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to join us in working toward MSF’s common mission.
Department
MSF-USA’s communications department shares news, feature stories, and eyewitness accounts from our medical humanitarian projects with domestic and international audiences. Through our communications, we aim to inform, engage, and inspire people to help communities caught in crisis situations. As an organization founded by journalists as well as doctors, bearing witness to humanitarian emergencies has always been central to our work. MSF’s reporting and advocacy are grounded in the direct experiences of our staff and patients.
The communications team works closely with other departments within MSF-USA and across the international movement to support public awareness, advocacy, recruitment, and fundraising activities. The communications department is responsible for producing and curating creative content for our digital and print channels, pitching stories to news media, and promoting public and internal engagement through live events and discussion programs. We strive to uphold humanitarian principles and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do.
