We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support the Air Force Medical Service Enterprise-Wide Technical Clinical Research Team (TCRT) I 59th Medical Wing (59 MDW) at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
Collaborates with the physicians and PI in the health care of patients.
Coordinates patient care through a continuum and facilitates the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to care, quality and cost effectiveness.
Ensures compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility.
Prepares reports, presentations and other written material in support of the project/protocol.
Assists in planning and execution of all aspects, strategic plan, goals and objectives.
Communicates and collaborates with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit project outcome.
Responsible for advance practice medical services to patients involving the performance of diagnostic, preventive, or therapeutic services to patients in hospitals and clinics.
Prescribe or administer treatment and other medical care to treat, prevent illness, disease, or injury.
Collect, record, and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
Monitor progress of patient condition and re-evaluate treatment, as necessary.
Order, perform ad interpret tests and analyze records, reports and examination information to diagnose patient conditions.
Must be a registered nurse, Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and/or a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Must have a minimum three (3) years in active clinical practice is required within the last four (4) years
