ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City (NYC), seeks a Graphic Designer. The incumbent will be responsible for the design of visual materials that enhance ICAP’s global brand. As a member of the Communications team in the Strategies and Partnerships Unit, the Graphic Designer reports to the Design Lead and collaborates with the Communications team as well as other ICAP departments, to produce, manage, and enhance digital and print content and materials, including technical posters, training packages, reports, manuals, information sheets, proposals, presentations, photography, video, illustrations, graphics, event and promotional collateral, and high-priority materials for internal and external stakeholders. The Graphic Designer will also work to help maintain the graphic standards of ICAP, including font and color usage and logo guidelines and to coordinate the print production of collateral materials.
ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Graphic Designer role. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field or equivalent to education, training and/or experience and a minimum of three year’s work experience or related experience in design-oriented role. The Graphic Designer will design website/portfolio that features examples of well-constructed and thoughtful design work, including layout, animation/video, illustrations, data visualizations/infographics, environmental graphic design/wayfinding, and brand identity.
