Project Overview and Role:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Humanitarian and Stabilisation Operations Team (HSOT), contracted by Palladium International Ltd, provides the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and Office of Conflict, Stabilisation and Mediation (OCSM) with humanitarian services and stabilisation support.
HSOT works with FCDO to lead the UK Government’s response to humanitarian disasters in co-operation with the United Nations, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, non-governmental organisations and governments of disaster-affected countries.
We are seeking a Recruitment and Resourcing Specialist to manage the recruitment and sourcing of consultants to OCSM requirements. Supporting and developing HR and talent management systems and procedures will be a core part of the role to help the overall smooth running of the project.
Managing the incoming recruitment requests which will include defining Job Descriptions, confirming nature of contracts
Working in partnership with the client to develop an understanding of their needs to deliver effective recruitment solutions.
Responsible for 360 degree recruitment process from recruiting consultants from the roster till final placement.
Responsible for induction of new consultants.
Responsible for a level of administrative support, and ability to scale up as required.
Providing an excellent candidate recruitment experience.
Supporting administration of client vetting processes for both new hires and annual renewals.
Work with external clients and internal stakeholders to develop and implement efficient tools and processes to support talent management.
Supporting the development and roll-out of new HSOT tools and initiatives.
Developing and maintaining data and reporting mechanisms.
Liaising with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help create working relationships.
Supporting the Contractors onboarding and pre-deployment.

Required Qualifications:
Proven recruitment, or talent acquisition experience. Roster and Resourcing Management experience is essential
Strong track record of interviewing, screening, and selection. Understand Public sector resourcing
Demonstrable IT skills and knowledge of HRIS and cloud-based systems.
Temp, locum, or contractor desk or roster management experience is essential.
Clear commitment to candidate experience and relationship management.
Experience in a fast paced, high-volume setting.
Public sector experience in the UK is highly desirable.
Language skills would be an asset. Specifically: French, Spanish and Arabic.
Ability to build and forge strong working relationships and influence key stakeholders.
Resilience and the ability to innovate, using new ways to approach difficult situations.
Be very organised and able to manage and implement processes.
Ability to prioritise work coming from a number of sources and still work to deadlines.
Be personable with excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Open to travel if required.
