Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide an end-to-end talent management service, you will be responsible for leading on talent acquisition and managing the relationships with the roster members. Identifying and sourcing best talent in the market and building a strong and diverse specialist network, through advertising, networking and headhunting. Supporting and executing a strong talent strategy will be a core part of the role. The role will have an HR and administrative element. Stakeholder engagement and leading on talent best practice will be an integral part of the role.
Roster Management
Sourcing relevant candidates from the database to meet client requirements
Responsible for interviewing candidates prior to submitting to the client.
Being the first point of escalation for any performance/ behaviour management queries.
Working with colleagues in Humanitarian Projects teams to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
Grow and maintain the roster membership to an agreed level.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection applicants to join the roster.
Responsible for sourcing, attracting and screening high quality candidates matching the client’s requirements by using job boards, adverts, networking, social media and referrals to source and attract quality candidates.
Working with FCDO teams to help define terms of reference and providing guidance on compliance.
Responsible for a level of administrative support, and ability to scale up as required.
Supporting contractor’s pre-deployment.
Core Team Recruitment
Supporting the Resourcing coordinator to manage core team vacancies.
Developing recruitment metrics and make suggestions and improvements.
Providing an excellent candidate recruitment experience.
Supporting and promoting the employer brand.

Required Qualifications:
Proven recruitment, or talent acquisition preferably within humanitarian and development settings.
Strong track record of interviewing, screening, and selection.
Demonstrable IT skills and knowledge of HRIS and cloud-based systems.
Temp, locum, or contractor desk or roster management experience is essential.
Clear commitment to candidate experience and relationship management.
Experience of managing a high volume of vacancies in a in a fast paced setting.
Public sector experience in the UK is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of UK legislation.
IR35 knowledge.
Providing data and running reports as required.
Generalist HR knowledge.
Ability to deal with queries.
Language skills would be an asset. Specifically: French, Spanish and Arabic.
Ability to build and forge strong working relationships and influence key stakeholders
Resilience and the ability to innovate, using new ways to approach difficult situations
Commercially minded with a business focus on deliverables for the end client.
Ability to prioritise work coming from a number of sources and still work to deadlines.
Be personable with excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Handling multiple tasks and priorities, with the maturity to remain calm under pressure.
Will be willing to work additional hours during emergencies.
Open to travel if required.
This role is a 1 year fixed term employment contract to be based in London. Please apply if you have the right to work in the UK and have been a UK resident for the last 2 years. The closing date for this role is 1st September.
