The challenges of working in FCAS contexts means that we need to be innovative and creative and our FCAS Team is recognised as a global leader in providing monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) advice and services to a diverse range of clients working in conflict and crisis contexts across the world. Our expertise encompasses a broad range of thematic areas including conflict prevention; peacebuilding; security and justice; stabilisation; serious and organised crime; women, peace and security; preventing violent extremism; migration; and humanitarian assistance. We are also conducting a number of evaluations of humanitarian assistance and support to refugees for UNHCR, IOM and OCHA.
The Role
We are recruiting for either a Principal or a Senior Consultant to join the team to work on projects across the whole portfolio.
As a Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction across a number of MEL projects in the portfolio, including quality assurance; playing a leading role in business development, bid writing and helping to grow the FCAS MEL portfolio; sharing learning through knowledge products, external conferences and events; and playing a leading role in maintaining our excellent reputation with our clients.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing substantive technical and management inputs on a number of MEL projects in the portfolio; contributing to business development activities and bid writing; sharing learning through knowledge products and external conferences and events; and being a part of maintaining our excellent reputation with our clients.
The core technical strengths of all our consultants are focused around four key areas:
