Position Overview: The International Operations department is responsible for cross-site planning and support for facilities, pharmacy, and supply chain. The Planning and Analytics Manager is responsible for forecasting and bulk order analysis, and developing and managing our library of internal and external-facing supply chain and operations reports . The Manager will help advise on data structures and quality and will contribute to decision making and strategy w ithin their functional area. The Manager may interface and collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors, donors, consultants, and Ministry of Health counterparts, and will also collaborate with other teams within P artners I n H ealth (PIH) to lead process improvements and address supply chain risks.
Responsibilities: Forecasting and Bulk Order Analysis
Perform and improve cross-site forecasting, including tracking forecast accuracy over time to identify areas for improvement
Perform replenishment order analyses for all PIH sites in line with the bulk order schedule
Create and populate templates for site replenishment budget ing each fiscal year
Collaborate with site points of contact to ensure data is interpreted correctly and presented in a comprehensible manner
Data Management and Reporting
Improve efficiency of data analys e s and increase data visibility by designing reports and dashboards in Jet and PowerBI for internal and external use
Advise on ad hoc data analysis requests
Make recommendations for data quality and process improvements through in-depth analyses of supply chain electronic systems data
Collate user feedback to identify and document priorities for electronic systems improvements and strategy, with an eye towards increased efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience
Track and document changes to the supply chain data model, and update reports and trainings accordingly
Team Management and Supervision
Manage and supervise Planning and Analytics Analysts, ensuring staff are efficiently completing work, meeting site needs, and coordinating with other departments and teams as needed
Support and train team members to ensure compliance with internal and external procurement guidelines
Identify and implement opportunities for professional development and capacity building operations staff across the PIH network
Ensure staff have clear responsibilities, help manage workloads and identify and remove obstacles to achieving goals, and help develop individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals
Qualifications
Required :
6-8 years of relevant work experience, or 3-5 years of experience alongside degree in a related field. Relevant fields include: Global Health, Humanitarian Logistics, Supply Chain, International Development, Data science , Business, Health care Administration, or similar
Advanced Excel skills and ability to train others in advanced Excel functions
Experience designing reports using Access, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar
Demonstrated success managing large orders or data set s with high attention to detail.
Demonstrated success responding to a high volume of requests and ability to react to needs with a sense of urgency and a service-oriented mindset
Demonstrated success solving problems creatively in order to meet organizational goals and objectives
Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or proven ability to learn new electronic systems quickly
Ability to follow established processes and experience implementing process improvements
Willingness to do important repetitive tasks and data entry and ability to see their connection to larger team and organizational goals
Exemplary i nterpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries
Interest in social justice strongly desirable
Preferred:
Experience with international pharmaceutical and /or medical supply procurement
French , Spanish, or Haitian Creole language skills
