Project Overview and Role:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Role
Palladium is looking to engage a SharePoint App Developer to provide support to the Process Excellence Team in managing and maintaining its already developed SharePoint site. The SharePoint & Power BI Developer with JavaScript and other web technology experience to support SharePoint Development. Developers will work as part of a team to provide enterprise solutions including portals, web-parts, Apps and SharePoint solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop SharePoint and Knowledge Management tools based in support of user requirements.
Develop workflows to streamline business processes.
Assist users design and build websites; add and configure web parts; manage permissions for site users, controlling access to sites, lists, libraries and other SharePoint components.
Design, develop, test, and maintain SharePoint applications with custom workflows and data exports
Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React Framework)
Develop interfaces for custom lists, web parts, libraries & workflows creating enterprise solutions
Apply skills using object-oriented development, architectural patterns, and software development best practices
Design and edit SharePoint site to include custom landing pages, icons, overall user design facets, web elements, web landing pages, site master pages/banners, form headers, etc
Support BI and automation development activities
Participate in requirements gathering and analysis activities
Support overall implementation efforts
Site and application testing and debugging
Ensure adherence to provided standards and policies
Development of training documentation and provide training when requested
Development of SharePoint Admin use and end user manual
Required Qualifications:
Experience with SharePoint Designer
Experience with scripting; CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and C#
Experience designing and creating custom forms using InfoPath
Experience creating custom site and list templates, custom level permissions, and content types. Modifying term store.
Experience creating or editing workflows
Experience creating and modifying user groups as well as assigning, modifying, and troubleshooting permissions
Knowledge to create views, filter data, group metadata and sort data in libraries and lists
Knowledge of using calculated columns
Manage site collection and site features
Support web content management system and web application design and development.
Provide out-of-the-box SharePoint developing, scripts, and features.
Create and migrate forms and documents; create document approval/review workflow tracking and reporting requests, submissions, approvals, budget obligations, and receipts.
Support implementation and presentation of online content in SharePoint projects and initiatives.
Provide technical support for Palladium PE SharePoint site.
Ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of information systems by developing procedures, participating in business process design; reporting and investigating incidents, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments; promoting awareness and appropriate application of security policies/procedures; conducting systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews; developing systems contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures; and, authenticating and validating system user qualifications.
