About the opportunity
The New Colombo Plan (NCP) is a signature initiative of the Australian government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo Pacific in Australia by supporting undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the region. The NCP Program involves a scholarship program for study of up to one year and internships or mentorships, and a flexible mobility grants program for both short and longer-term study, internships, mentorships, practicums, research, and language training.
Palladium has been appointed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) as the Service Provider to deliver the NCP Managed Administrative and Support Services (NCP MASS) which aims to provide an integrated suite of services to support the objectives of the NCP Program.
The Engagement and Administration Officer will provide support to the Manager of Alumni and Business Engagement to enhance the delivery of engagement activities and events for the New Colombo Plan Alumni program and business engagement activities. The role will be required to regularly liaise with key stakeholders, including New Colombo Plan Scholars, alumni, universities, and businesses.

Location: Adelaide, SA (Head Office location)
Contract type: Full Time, Fixed Term contract until 30 June 2025 (Part-Time by negotiation).

About you
You will have broad experience working in administration and strong attention to detail. Your excellent interpersonal skills, along with your ability to clearly communicate, both in writing and verbally, will allow you to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, while providing a high level of customer service, and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
