Project Overview:
The Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) facilitates seasonal and longer-term work opportunities for Pacific workers in Australia. It connects Australian employers with Pacific workers under the newly introduced Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme which combines the existing Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) and Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP).
Role Overview:
The Planning Mobilisation and Redeployment Officer will oversee and provide administrative support as part of participating countries and approved employers’ planning and mobilisation of workers to Australia and redeployment of workers under PALM.
You will monitor and receive approved employers’ required worker documents; provide relevant input/ensure approved employers carry out required worker travel, visa and/or other mobilisation requirements; input and manage related mobilisation information; liaise with relevant stakeholders both internal and external to oversee the co-ordination of worker redeployment from one approved employer to another and liaise with the Australian Engagement Team to ensure coordinated provision of information for the ongoing support of workers.
In this role you will also:
The administration to support mobilisation of PALM workers
Provide information and advice to internal streams on the forward mobilisations schedule including numbers and locations of incoming workers.
Contribute to project reporting and data management requirements.
About you
It is essential that you have excellent attention to detail, ability to work to a range of deadlines, and experience in operations or administration, especially in support of a large team or organisation.
It is also expected of you to have demonstrated experience in data entry and management, including in management information systems and/or large databases.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work across a diverse range of stakeholders, so it is important you have good interpersonal skills, including in a cross-cultural context.
The successful candidate will have:
High level proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web browsers and the ability to use technology effectively to support the operations of a large program or organisation.
Ability to operate both autonomously and within a team.
Strong personal attributes of resilience and agility, with an ability to resolve problems effectively through appropriate channel management skills.

This is a Brisbane based role with options for flexible working. Candidates who are willing to relocate for the position must do so at their own expense.
