The Portfolio Management Manager will provide management support to the formulation, approval, initiation, review and completion of business change projects – including technology. The role will also provide expert business analysis support to production of business and benefits cases alongside monitoring and controlling the project governance framework. This role will be based in Brisbane, on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role:
Scope and prepare internal projects – including feasibility studies, short form business cases and proof of concept actions;
Support and manage all internal project governance board processes, end to end;
Schedule, plan and prepare for all internal project governance board meetings;
Manage and control methods and tools used in internal project governance;
Manage access control for third party providers/consultants;
Report on internal project status and reporting as required across the portfolio and at individual internal project level;
Maintain a portfolio level risks, assumptions, issues and decision log;
Manage active forecasting and future view of portfolio – contribute to strategic view of capacity, capability and affordability for future internal projects.
Provide business and system analyst support to corporate functions.

About You:
Significant PMO experience in managing multiple projects – include deep knowledge of methods and tools within defined project management approaches (e.g. PMBOK, Prince 2 etc.) and methodologies;
Portfolio management experience within a similar role;
Experience of supporting, managing formal project governance processes – including; scheduling, documenting, reporting etc. and the change management journey;
Business analysis skills – with a mix of domain, technology and method rich background;
Demonstrated knowledge of vendor management, preferably with consultants, technology vendors and other suppliers;
Experience working across a Global Business is desirable.
