Junior Professional – Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
Project Overview and Role:
Partnerships for Forests(P4F)

Partnerships for Forests (P4F) is an eight-year programme funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and managed by Palladium in partnership with Systemiq. It currently operates in Central, East, and West Africa, South East Asia and Latin America

P4F aims to catalyze investments in which the private sector, public sector and communities can achieve shared value from sustainable forests and sustainable land use.

By creating market-ready ‘Forest Partnerships’ that offer an attractive balance of risks and benefits for the private sector, public sector and communities, the program aims to mobilize significant investment, principally from the private sector. The program also supports demand side measures that strengthen demand for sustainable commodities, and activities to create the right enabling conditions for sustainable investment.

The initiative’s support is typically composed of a combination of financial grant and technical assistance to produce results where there is clear impact, value-added and levering opportunities to catalyze actions.

In Latin America, the program operates in Brazil, Colombia and Peru and will fund initiatives up to 2023.
